The term, "one kissed by moon and water," is an expression to describe a beautiful face. A famous poet from the Sunlands created this term as an ode to the three moons that shine upon the ocean and the loveliness of their light. He gave two people this compliment before he died: his mother, and the last princess of the Feishen empire.
Adelina and Raffaele both complimented each other using this term. Adelina thought that the moon and water desperately loved Raffaele, while he complimented her as, "truly kissed by moon and water."
