Marie Lu (born Xiwei Lu) is an American author, best known for her Legend series.
Biography
Lu was born in Jiangsu, China but later moved to Texas in 1989 when she was five. Lu later attended the University of Southern California and interned at Disney Interactive Studios. Prior to writing the Legend trilogy, Lu worked as an art designer for the video game industry, and some of her art can be found on her DeviantArt page. Lu has completed writing the The Young Elites trilogy.
